large onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

ounce slice Alpine Lace Deli Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese, shredded |

(1/2-inch) slices French bread

Heat oven to 400°F. Place onion, red pepper and garlic in single layer onto greased 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables just begin to brown. Remove from oven; cool completely. Remove garlic from skins. Chop onions, peppers and garlic.
Combine chopped roasted vegetables, tomato, cheese, sage and salt in large bowl.
Place bread slices onto ungreased baking pan. Bake for 3 minutes. Spread about
2 tablespoons
onion mixture onto each bread slice. Continue baking until cheese is melted (5 to 6 minutes). Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
